Promoting the circulation and dissemination of scientific knowledge through Open Science is a central objective of , the research and innovation project of the CHARM-EU Alliance. The aim of the first CHARM-EU Open Science Day – organized within TORCH by ELTE and Trinity College Dublin – is to share experiences about promoting Open Science culture and practice among CHARM-EU universities.

During the one-day workshop, academics will share their experiences in various fields connected to Open Science, especially regarding next-generation metrics, transparency, FAIR data management, research integrity, and Citizen Science. The training session is targeting university leadership, researchers, and educators, as well as PhD students. The morning session will focus on the role of leadership in successfully mainstreaming Open Science, while the afternoon session will provide ready-to-use knowledge to researchers and staff members.
